Upper Arlington Baseball Team, 1918
Inter-village baseball games between Grandview Heights and Upper Arlington were first organized in June 1918. At the time, there was no proper baseball field in Grandview, so all but one of the games that year were played at the Upper Arlington Ball Park on Thompson Field, which was north of King Avenue and east of Bedford Road. Of the five games in the 1918 season, Upper Arlington won four. The Field Day baseball game was the only one the Grandview Heights team won that year.
