Dogwood52 2017 Week 3: Land This challenge immediately drew me towards the country-side. The mist had wrapped everything for the whole weekend, providing some great shooting opportunities. I really wanted to picture the ground itself, but ended up being driven towards things growing out from the ground. Like this shot of an old tree, left to grow when the rest of the forest had been cut. Now several years later, standing there among the little ones. CC encouraged.
