Buildings as art. Architecture is often sited as an art form that adds an artistic element to something that is otherwise simply functional. The West Block on Parliament Hill in Ottawa Ontario is currently undergoing extensive renovations and restoration. The work on the exterior masonry is being performed under full wrap. The bulding now resembles a more modern art project in the spirit of Christo and Jeanne-Claude.
