Stalactites and Stalagmites at Carlsbad

A grotto in Carlsbad Caverns National Park, New Mexico. The caves formed from sulfuric acid disovling limestone. The park is located in the Guadalupe Mountains at the northern end of the Chihuahua Desert that extends up from Mexico.
