Picturesque Northwest Cove is situated on the south shore of Nova Scotia in St. Margarets Bay on the Aspotogan Peninsula close to the Town of Chester. The community is home to fishers of Irish and Huguenot descent and is steeped in maritime history. The cove is filled with colourful buildings and working boats and is one of the highlights along the famed Lighthouse Route of Nova Scotia - Route 329
