Lots of native Grass Trees of Australia that grow wild in the bushland. These are showing the very burned trunks and dry dead leaves from a recent bushfire that went through a couple of weeks ago. The botanical name for these plants is Xanthorrhoea and they are commonly known as Black Boys.
