Meili Snow Mountain

Its beauty and sanctity attract travelers around the world every year; however, its arduousness refused all the people who want to see its real face. This is the Meri Snow Mountain. Situated in Yunnan Province, Meri Snow Mountai is between the Nu River and Lancang River. Its major peak, Kawa Karpo Peak is about 6740 meters and is the highest mountain of Yunnan Province. The upper part of the mountain is covered by snow all around the year, and the lower part has lush vegetation of big trees and bushes. The white peak erected straight into the sky and looked more sacred under the blue background. Magnificent glaciers stretches from the top to the foot of the mountain, like white dragons wiggling in the boundless forests. The Kawagebo Peak is said to be the protector a branch of Tibetan Buddhism. The mountain looks like a pyramid, and the clouds around the mountain makes the peak more beautiful and mysterious. Moreover, the peak is regarded as one of the eight saint mountains of Tibetan areas. When summer is coming, glaciers on the mountain melt into crystal-clean water and pours down to the foot. Enormous streams and sprays reflect the sunlight into colorful rainbows. The amazingly beautiful scenery is also regarded as holly and awesome in the eyes of Tibetan followers.
