Boniato (Mun Tet) is primarily used in making Thai desserts. Boniato, as well as taro, is available at many Asian markets.Also called Batata, White Sweet Potato, Cuban Sweet Potato and Camote, good-quality boniato will be firm and heavy for its size. Skin colors may include pink, purple, cream and red. Keep boniato in a cool, dark place, but not in the refrigerator.
