These are a mother Kangaroo with her young 'Joey'. When the baby is born,they crawl around to her pouch below her belly and suckle milk there until quite big. Feet and legs are seen hanging out of the pouch as they grow. They stay with the parents in a family group even after others are born. The father was over the back of the paddock keeping a watchful eye on them while eating grass. He is quite a lot larger than the female.
