The Buddhist Temple Wat Pho, commonly known as the Temple of the Reclining Buddha, was originally built in 1688 in the Phra Nakhon district of Bangkok Thailand. The temple, however, didn't actually contain the 46m long, 15m high Reclining Buddha until it's casting in 1832 during the reign of King Rama III.
