The Basilic of Erice: the plant is of basilican type to three navate, delimited from two long filari of high pillars of tufo limestone, on which rests of arches pointed. The time of the greater nail head was decorated with mosaics and the inside introduced, respect today, one various disposition of the altars. In the main altar, to the center of the transetto, figure the Madonna of the Assumed one, titular of the church, encircled from bassorilievi representing Knows Evangelisti to you within niches.
