Brean Down Somerset walk to the fort on the end
Brean Down is a peninsula or promontory off the coast of Somerset extending into the Bristol Channel between Weston-super-Mare and Burnham-on-Sea. It is made of carboniferous limestone and is known for wildlife, history and archaeology and is a Site of Special Scientific Interest. At the end is Brean Down Fort which was built in 1865
