YuanYang Rice Terrace - The Sea Nail

Yuanyang County is a county of YunNan province, China. It is home to the most spectacular terraced rice fields in the world. The fields have been cultivated by Hani minority people for centuries and constitute a unique self-sustaining ecosystem. The rice field can be found from 800m - 2000m above sea level, and farmers generally lives on top of the hill and go down every day for their far work. This piece of land is call The Sea Snail by the locals.
