Summer Heat

Although there are four main seasons in the year, there are also sub-seasons. It is now pepper season! This year's pepper crop has been unusually bountiful. Fresh jalapenos have been adding a crunchy and delicious zing to just about every meal. This week, the bhut jolokia peppers have begun to ripen! Pepper season is one of my favourite seasons of the year. This somewhat deform bhut jolokia made wonderful addition to tonight's pasta! I am now strongly looking forward to tomorrow's breakfast... ...and lunch... ... and mid afternoon snack... ...
