Statue of Sisyphus

Sisyphus - the legendary king of Corinth . Zeus invited him to a feast on Olympus , but Sisyphus betrayed him telling people the secrets of the gods. To punish him , Zeus sent him a god of death, Thanatos . But Sisyphus Death bound in chains , and the earth stopped dead people. Zeus sent Ares to free Thanatos . When Ares freed Death, Sisyphus died, but told his wife not to make burial ceremonies.
