Redstone is found off the North Shore Drive in the Lake Mead National Recreation Area. It is about 40 miles outside of Las Vegas, about 20 miles past the Callville Bay cutoff and about 10 away from the Echo Bay junction. Off trail hiking is available in the heavily eroded fossil sand dunes from the Jurassic Period date back 120 million years ago.
