Shiwei Russian nationality townships is located in Sino-Russia frontier area, in the territory of Hulunbeier Ergun City in Inner Mongolia. It is one of the township (town) of the current most northern Chinas Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Shiwei is Chinas only Russian nationality townships, where most still retains Russian-style building. Shiwei is also the birthplace of the Mongolian.
