Redstone is on the North Shore Drive in Lake Mead NRA. It is about 40 miles outside of Las Vegas, about 20 miles past the Callville Bay cutoff and about 10 away from the Echo Bay junction. Heavily eroded fossil sand dunes from the Jurassic Period date back 120 million years ago.
