Harbin Engineering University

Harbin Engineering University (HEU) is a main university specializing in shipping industry, ocean exploration and nuclear application in China. In September 1, 1953, the predecessor of HEU, the PLA Military Engineering Institute was established, and Senior General Chen Geng acted as the first president. In January, 1972: the Institute changed its name to Harbin Shipbuilding Engineering Institute (HSEI). In April, 1994, HSEI was renamed as Harbin Engineering University (HEU) until now. Harbin Engineering University is expanding her role as China's premier comprehensive international university now and into the 21st century. This picture shows student's activity center.
