Grey Heron &x28;Ardea cinera&x29;

A Grey Heron in a marshland inlet, at the RSPB reserve, on the coast at Marshside, near Southport, England. This particular bird is known in the area, because he has lost one leg at the knee joint. But as with many mammals and birds, does not let his handicap affect his life.
