Photographer: unidentified Location: Brisbane Description: The Executive Building is a fine example of Edwardian Baroque public architecture. It is a four storey building with a base of granite from Enoggera and Mount Crosby. Queensland materials used in the construction include brown freestone from Helidon (outer walls) and freestone from Yangan near Warwick (colonnade walls). The building is bordered by George Street, Stephens Lane, William Street and Queens Gardens. Queens Gardens are located in front of the building.
