O. C. Ingalls of Grandview at Bat, 1918
The last baseball game of the 1918 season of Grandview Heights versus Upper Arlington was a cliffhanger, but resulted in a 3-2 win for Upper Arlington. The game, along with four of the other five games of the season, was played at the Upper Arlington Ball Park on Thompson Field, which was located north of King Avenue and east of Bedford Road. O.C. Ingalls played for Grandview Heights and was known in the game for his "crafty headwork."
