This unusual piece of photo journalism from the Clonbrock Collection. Queen Victoria's long reign had come to an end and her son, the Prince of Wales had come to the throne as King Edward VII. The Dillon family captured the proclamation outside a courthouse amidst great pomp and ceremony and at least one hat being held aloft!
