A view from the Marksburg. The castle is the only castle in Germany that was never destroyed and couldn't be captured. The castle is situated high up on the steep slopes above the river Rhine just south of Koblenz in the German county of Rhineland Pfalz. The castle is a great tourist magnet and boasts a hoast of very interesting exhibits.
