The Reclining Buddha (Phra Budhasaiyart) in Ayutthaya, Thailand, represented the moment at which a giant named Asuridarahu was unwilling to pay respect tot he Buddha because he was proud of his huge body. The Buddha desired the giant to be less arrogant, so he turned himself as much larger than the giant.
