Carambola or Star Fruit is a yellow-green fruit that is shaped like a star. Star fruit have a distinctive star shape, yellow/green skin and clean, crisp texture. Some varieties are sweet and slightly tart. Use sliced in fruit salad or platters. Their distinctive shape makes a beautiful garnish.
