Saint Georges Anglican Church

The first Church to be consecrated in the Colony of South Australia by the first bishop of Adelaide. The Church is built of Kentish masonry work from water worn, rounded, pebbles collected from the creek which runs through nearby Stradbroke Park. The foundation was laid in 1847.
