'Dune Landscape in Red', a large abstract landscape painting on canvas for sale. I painted this canvas in acrylic in 1990. It was an attempt to create sensations of 'landscape' in organic forms combined with the option to make a see-through painting wall. My inspiration were some sketches (also published here in Flickr), I made in the dunes of Harlem, The Netherlands, a historical location for painters where also the 17th century painter Ruysdael was drawing his sketches for his famous landscape-paintings.... An inspiring painter for me in my starting artistic years, because of his very dynamic compositions of the Dutch landscape . Size of the original painting on canvas is 110 x 125 cm; it is for sale. This digital image of my art I placed here in high resolution on Flickr, in the public domain. I edited it digitally with great care for the hues, colors and texture of the original work.
